Elegant champagne cooler in the shape of a bottle, dated to around 1920. A decorative and unusual serving item where the function is hidden in the shape – the outer casing resembles a classic champagne bottle while the inside holds a removable container for ice and bottle. Matching stopper/lid included.
Made of metal with a beautiful patina that shows age and use. A typical example of early 20th century serving culture where bar and tableware were both practical and conversation pieces. Just as nice as a decor detail in a bar or dining room as when serving.
Period: circa 1920s
Dimensions: H 39 x ø11cm
Inner diameter: approx. ø8.5cm
Material: Metal (probably silver-plated brass)
Condition: Fine antique condition with age-related patina and signs of wear.
An unusual and stylish item for collectors or anyone who wants something out of the ordinary for table setting and bar.
