Sara Lailasdotter, based in Stockholm, transforms flat acrylic glass into vibrant and energetic works of art. Her playful and colorful designs evoke an infectious joy and bring to mind the Memphis group, known for their bold expression and rebellious idiom. Her art balances elegantly between nostalgia and modernity – an expression we at Brandstationen celebrate for its ability to break with tradition and invite playfulness.

Northern craft 2.0

S.VEKKE

In the forests of Norrland, Ronja and Lisa, the team behind S.VEKKE, create imaginative and unique products in their creative studio. Here they experiment with different materials and play their way to their own design language, with a particular focus on the colorful and playful patterns on their rugs. Their vision is to combine the love of genuine craftsmanship with modern design to create durable and inspiring objects. Ronja, with her background in ceramics and industrial design, is responsible for the creative flow, while Lisa, with her financial knowledge, makes sure everything works behind the scenes. And the end product is amazing. Put them on the floor or hang them on the wall - either way they will add a wonderful warmth and playfulness to you room.
