The “Wonder” lamp from Seletti is a playful yet elegant decorative object that combines classic sculptural tradition with modern humor. It depicts a bust in the style of an antique David/Adonis figure – but in the moment of blowing a pink bubble gum bubble. The result is a surprising and contemporary twist on an iconic design language.
The lamp is made of resin and glass and has a format of approximately 21 × 12.5 cm, which makes it compact but visually strong. The integrated LED light source that forms the bubble spreads a warm, pleasant glow that highlights both the facial features and the bubble's humorous expression. Designer Uto Balmoral combines classic aesthetics with an unexpected pop cultural gesture, creating an object that works equally well in modern interiors as in more eclectic and artistic environments.
