Colors of London

Mylands launched Colours of London in 2012, an exclusive colour collection that opened up the company’s unique palette to the public for the first time since its inception in 1884. Previously, Mylands had primarily supplied colour to professionals and film, television and theatre productions. The collection was created by Dominic Myland, fourth-generation CEO, who sought to combine classic colours from the company’s archives with modern touches to create a timeless whole.

Colours of London consists of 120 shades, each carefully selected and inspired by London’s history. The names are inspired by the city’s iconic places, areas and prominent people who have shaped the character of London. The collection combines both colours from previous film and theatre projects and brand new shades developed specifically for the launch, making it a unique celebration of the city’s soul and culture.
