The foundation for the perfume was born during a trip to Wadi Darbat in southern Oman, a place that is markedly different from the image we often have of the region. Here, the Indian monsoon winds meet, creating a landscape rich in greenery, water and botanical variety. Among rivers and tall trees grows the Sidr tree – an ancient tree from the Ziziphus genus, known for its red fruits and unusually aromatic flowers.

It is these very flowers that give rise to the rare and sought-after Yemen Sidr honey , produced by local bees. During my stay, together with a botanist and an incense grower, the idea for Nektar grew: a fragrance that interprets the many nuances of honey and reflects the rich nature that surrounds its origin.

Nektar is described as oriental and amber-woody with a sweet-fruity note, where the honey aspect is balanced by spicy, leathery and woody notes. It is experienced as warm and full-bodied, with gourmand notes that make it both rich and inviting.
