An oil painting by Max Gregor Carlsson (1914–1996) with an abstract composition that is characterized by a fantastic depth and balance in the structure. The brushwork and the toned-down blue tones interact in a way that creates a calm but at the same time dynamic whole, where the viewer is invited into the spatiality of the painting.
The work is signed by the artist and framed in a simple wooden frame. There is some cracking, but the painting is otherwise in good condition and appears to be a fine example of Carlsson's artistic expression during the 20th century.
