Legendary perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena , inspired by his love for Italy, has created a collection of Parfum Colognes called "Viaggio in Italia" that serves as a portrait of Italian joie de vivre. Mandarino, Limone, Bergamotto, Arancia Rossa and Pompelmo make up the fragrances in the Viaggio in Italia collection – a journey through Italy, where each scent is like a ray of sunshine in the middle of winter.

“Although citrus fruits originally come from China, the bergamot is Italian. It is a pity that no one knows who created it by crossing a lemon tree with a bitter orange tree – this inventor could have been honored in the same way as his colleague Clément, who invented the clementine. Italian traders managed to sell bergamot to the Chinese market to add fragrance to their simpler tea, which they then sold on to the English market.

I am often asked if I have fragrance preferences. I have always said no, to hide the manipulations I perform, since the perfumer’s work is always that of an illusionist. But yes, I do have preferences, and they change according to my needs and desires. I have fleeting infatuations as well as deep and lasting loves – and among them is my love for bergamot. It was time to admit it openly.”
