An exceptional armchair designed by Mario Prandina for the Italian furniture house Plinio Il Giovane, created around 1975. With its architectural expression and sculptural weight, it exudes a self-evident weight – a furniture object that occupies a room rather than simply exists in it.
The strong, geometrically shaped armrests give the armchair a monumental impression, while the low silhouette brings to mind modernist masters of brutalism.
Newly upholstered in Fårö from Lauritzon – an exclusive bouclé wool fabric that adds a tactile softness to the straight shape and gives new life and highlights the original design.
