We are brightening up the grey January and inviting light artist Anna Dykhoff Sternelius to hold an atmospheric workshop in light creation. Two creative evenings await – one at Brandstationens Studio and one at Lilla Gungans Glass .

During this creative workshop you will explore the magic of beeswax. Anna works with natural beeswax and has carefully created a kit filled with everything you need to cast and shape your own candles. You will receive step-by-step guidance and can create both classic and more sculptural shapes – completely according to your own imagination.

We are also extra happy to once again invite you to an evening at Lilla Gungans Ice Cream . Because what could be better than creating beautiful beeswax candles in the charming garden town of Gamla Enskede – with Italian gelato within reach.

No prior knowledge is needed – just curiosity and a desire to create.

Who is Anna?

Anna Dykhoff Sternelius is a light and design artist with a deep love for natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. She works primarily with natural beeswax , a living material that she transforms into both utility objects and poetic light sculptures. Through her work, Anna explores the interplay between light, scent, form and tactility – and places the slow, careful creation at the center.

In addition to her artistic work, Anna is also an author . In her book, she shares her knowledge, thoughts and methods around light, craft and the presence of creation – an extension of her artistic universe and a way to make craft accessible to more people.

With a background in art, design and craft processes, Anna has developed a unique eye for materiality and detail. Her work is characterized by warmth, stillness and the kind of beauty that arises when the work of the hand is allowed to take time.

In her workshops, Anna guides participants with a calm, clear and inspiring approach. Here, both beginners and experienced creators have the opportunity to explore the possibilities of beeswax, step by step, in an atmosphere that encourages playfulness, curiosity and creativity.

For Anna, light creation is more than a craft – it is a way to land, slow down and create something that continues to spread light long after the moment is over.
